Amazing fresh made salsa with KICK!

The flavor was truly amazing. It has all of the right kind of heat you like for salsa. As long as you keep eating it, you are fine. It is when you stop that it really starts to burn.

As promised, here is the attempt to make salsa with the super hot chilis from my Chef’s garden. He promised me some real fire, and it definitely delivered. He did not know the name of the chilis, but they look a lot like a small Thai chili or something similar. After we combined some Fresh tomatoes and some diced tomatoes (just a little for color. A trade secret of most Mexican chefs), with white onion, garlic, salt and pepper. I whizzed it up in a blender and added some cilantro, and a little more finely diced white onion.

The flavor was truly amazing. It has all of the right kind of heat you like for salsa. As long as you keep eating it, you are fine. It is when you stop that it really starts to burn. It did linger a bit, but nothing crazy like a Habenero or a Ghost chili. All in all, I thought it was very good, and would definitely like to go and steal that chili plant out of his yard.
